As part of our RE topic this half term. we visited church to identify the different features and think about what makes a church such a special building for Christians. 

We discussed what we could see and were particularly interested in the beautiful stained glass windows - we recognised that there were images of people depicted in them and thought about which stories they could represent. It is an interesting building and we loved looking closely at all of the details. 

Reception thought that it was a great place to pray, as it was so quiet and made them feel calm.

We're so lucky to have this beautiful church right on our doorstep!
